GPS alpha follows and uses the rules provided by the officialminecraft.net website (However the GPS Alpha team have amended certain rules for the specifications of the server, these changes will be in red.) Please note: Unlike National Laws, the rules stated below will not be taken to court the punishments will be given after warnings from a Mod/Admin on site. All Cases can be appealed (Server or Local(National)) Just appeal via Contact form on the Homepage & the GPS Team will give you a date for your Appeal case which will be held either at the Rigaud Court of Appeal or the ISA HQ in Yelland (Nottcut Square).
If you join the server and stay online for more than 2 minutes or rejoin then your accepting the terms and conditions of GPS alpha which are stated below:

General Rules for Everyone:

Rule #1:
Absolutely no griefing. If found grieifng you will either be jailed or banned based on severity of the case. Also griefing is also considered if you modify anyones property without permission. This means destroying, or placing blocks. Also this applies to stealing stuff from peoples chests.

Rule #2:
Do not steal - This is punishable by 5 hour ban per item (If the crime occurs after 7:30pm the punishment becomes effective at 4:15pm the next day).

Rule #3:
Do not lie in court (Perjury) Punishable by Temp. Mute.

Rule #4:
Treat higher ranks with respect.

Rule #5:
Cursing/Swearing is STRICTLY NOT allowed, if you swear or curse you shall be given a 48 hour ban (If the crime occurs after 7:30pm then the 48 hour ban becomes effective at 4:15pm the next day).

Rule #6:
Only build in Category 4/3(if approved) areas. (Cat1 areas are private property, you may not walk or build on them | Cat2 areas are public spaces, you may walk but not build on them | Cat3 areas are not currently owned, please buy them or ask permission to build there | Cat4, you may build there.)

Rule #7:
Do not make random holes in the ground or Greif.

Rule #8:
Obey orders from Admins and the Owner. Punishable by temp jail or temp Ban.

Rule #9:
Do not advertise or discuss other servers. Punishable by temp mute.

Rule #10:
Do not ask for OP or any other rank. This includes donations. Punishable by Temp. Mute All ranks that have been payed for will be changed within 24 hours.

Do not disrespect the server in any way. Punishable by Mute (Temp. or Perm.)

Rules #12
Strictly NO BULLYING. If found to be bullying you shall be banned for 2 week or more and any allegations shall be treated with highest priority.

Do not spam. This will be punishable by jail time based on the severity of the crime.

Rule #14
Do not send out emails or messages titled or saying GPS or Official (e.g GPS Lottery) because it is not an Official event if it has not been approved by the GPS Team.

Do not just make up Laws. All Laws/Rules will be approved by a Mod/Admin or through a democratic Process e.g. Vote. Punishable by temp Ban

Do not make up organisations or Companies. All companies will be approved by a Mod/Admin or PM/President. Make sure you get proof of Owner ship on approval. POS (Proof Of Ownership) is mandatory!!

Do not, under any circumstances, spawn any items for anybody but yourself!

If you want to build with any valuable materials, (examples: diamond block, gold block, iron block, lapiz block etc.), then contact a *Super Admin* and ask them to protect your building before you start building it.

Even though you donated, you still cannot abuse your powers
(examples: killing [noob] (or anybody else) for no reason, building 1x1 towers, abusing the “goldenboots”, killing people with god mode enabled, banning people for no reason etc.)

Please, if you find anybody griefing, report who and what the person was doing.
